Babysitting

As you know, I love babysitting little kids and can't wait to have some of my own. But for now babysitting is a good time of practicing for when I'm grown and have my own kids. Babysitting can be sometimes hard and sometimes simple and easy. The most fun thing about babysitting is you get to see the kids grow up as you take care of them and you also get to see their personalities  as they grow up. I prefer to take care of younger kids under the age of 5 or 4 because I feel that I do better with them and I just like to take care of younger rather than older kids. Something you always want to do when it's your first time babysitting a family's child or children, get a notepad and pen and ask the parents some questions like, if they're allergic to anything, things they can't do or can do, and just ask things you may need to clean in the house for them and you'll be happy to do them. Some things you might want to ask to do for cleaning maybe ask if laundry needs to be done or dishes but remember to ask about details that can be quite important in some things others not at all important. That's all the tips for now that I can give you, keep reading my blog for more post about babysitting and more!

  2. How old do you have to be? I have to be older as well, my mom has a friend that has a little girl that I'm going to babysit tomorrow day from 7:15 to 3:00 and my family will be with me though so it's not like I'm alone and I'm not aloud quite yet to be by myself with a child sadly. But that's okay for now I just need some practice. Hope some of these tips will help you for when you babysit!:)

  6. I used to babysit ALL the time when I was younger...I actually 'babysat' my little brother, Johnny, from the time he was 2! My mom put me in charge of him a lot! The problem was I didn't get paid, and I wanted to play, but had to watch him. One time I 'lost' him!! I took him to a friend's house, and a bunch of us were playing and playing....and I wasn't paying attention to him...next thing, someone asked, "where is Johnny?" We looked and looked and couldn't find him!! So a bunch of us ran around the corner to my house and told my mom. She was so upset! I think she said she was going to put me in jail!! HA !! She says she didn't say that but that is what I remember! We all headed back to my friend's house, and coming down the sidewalk was Johnny, holding my friend's mother's hand!! He went into the house and her mom fed him!! I was SO relieved!! I didn't actually start babysitting other kids until I was 13, but then I did it All the time! You are going to be great EK!!

  7. lol! Thank you so much! I really do enjoy babysitting littler kids and playing with them. But I am know old enough to babysit so me and my friend who also loves to be around little kids we are going to start a babysitting "bussiness" and hand out cards to people at the playground and ask family and friends. But we will not start until late summer maybe in September because we will say on the cards that I am 12 so I don't want to lie so we will wait till late July and August to hand them out then I bet by the time someone needs help we both can help out so there is more trust and help.😊
But yea that's my plan for now and I am also helping out with toddlers in church for a service 2 times a month with my mom because I'm not quite old enough to go in by myself with a random adult. But again thank you so much!😊
